Speedweek Ep 1183 December 3, 2017 Part 1

Rounds seven to nine of the 2017 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship is held at the fastest circuit in Great Britain – Thruxton.
Originally constructed as an airfield for the RAF during World War II, the circuit in its current format was first opened for motor racing activities in 1968, utilising much of the perimeter road surrounding the airfield. It has since become of the of the most popular venues on the BTCC calendar, owing much to its high speeds and closely fought racing.
