The Knockhill Racing Circuit in Scotland is the only round of the British Touring Car Championship held outside of England.
The track layout was developed by utilising the service roads that led to a nearby abandoned mineral railway and opened for activity in 1974. The BTCC first visited Knockhill in 1990 and was a regular fixture until 2002, before returning to the series schedule in 2004 where it has remained since.
